How much am I owed for my dismissal?

Work out the compensation with the rules of Spain's Workers' Statute: the days per year worked, the 45-day part if your contract started before 12 February 2012, and the caps. It shows every step.

The day your employment with the company began. If you had back-to-back contracts, they may count from the first one when they form one essential working relationship: it depends on how long the gaps were and why, whether there was fraud…, and there's no fixed number of days. The seniority date on your payslip may not match the one that counts legally.

The day the contract ends according to the letter or the judgment, not the day you were handed the letter.

Everything you earn gross in a year: base salary, allowances, seniority pay, extra payments, commissions and variable pay, and benefits in kind. Without per diems or reimbursed expenses. If you have variable pay, use a representative period; the average of the last year is a good reference.

33 days per year worked, up to 24 monthly salaries (art. 56.1 ET). If your contract started before 12 February 2012, transitional rules: 45 days a year up to that date and 33 after it (11th transitional provision ET).

Choose the kind the company told you, the one a judgment declares, or the scenario you want to compare. A null dismissal isn't calculated here: it means reinstatement and payment of the wages lost.
